There are some of the most diverse environments on earth, from beaches and rainforests to mountains, lakes, glaciers and even volcanoes. Many of these different natural features can be visited on the same day.
About New Zealand

The Climate

Although there are four distinct seasons in New Zealand there are not the extremes of hot and cold to be found in most other countries around the world. Any time of year is a pleasant time to explore New Zealand’s wonders.
About New Zealand

Crime is low in New Zealand and as a tourist you are unlikely to encounter problems. Furthermore, there are virtually no lethal creatures amongst New Zealand’s wildlife so you can explore without concern for being bitten or eaten!
About New Zealand

The Culture

New Zealand was inhabited by the local native people, the Maori before the arrival of the Europeans in the 1700s. New Zealand today is a fascinating blend of cultures who mingle and thrive in a peaceful yet vibrant society.

Getting to New Zealand

Part of what makes New Zealand so special is that it is an unspoiled destination due to its relatively low population and its isolation. Follow the link below to see how long it will take to get to New Zealand from your country.

At Manaaki Adventures NZ we allow our international student tour groups to choose whether or not they wish to organise and book their own flights.  If, however you do not want the hassle of finding and booking fights then we most certainly can do this for you.

Major airlines offer direct flights to New Zealand from Australia, USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Chile. Connecting flights from these countries link New Zealand with the rest of the world.

When you arrive in New Zealand, you’ll need to be carrying a passport that is valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure date. Many people will qualify for visa-free entry, but depending on your country of origin, some will need to apply for a visa before they travel.
